so after the event that speed ran the other night, I am SUPER excited to dive a little more into the game and the missions/scenarios.

That being said, I am really new to the mil-sim genre. What sort of things should I know, or learn about to get the most of the experience? Vets of this sort of thing help me out.  Also if there are any sort of QOL mods or need-to-have Mods that you would recommend please let me know.

Thanks,
-Gippy

I'm occasionally playing with an Arma 3 group, and their modlist makes the game very close to realistic, and I very much enjoy playing the game that way.

The most significant mods are:

Ace3

Task Force Radio (ts addon)

Suppress

Immerse

JSRS Soundmod

VComAI (that one is awesome)

And to improve the Zeus-ing:

Ares Mod

As well as a bunch of different item and map mods, but that's not too important.
